A vibrant and collectible signed limited edition color lithograph by celebrated Israeli artist Menashe Kadishman (1932–2015) — one of Israel's most internationally recognized and beloved artists. This work depicts his most iconic and celebrated subject: a sheep's head rendered in an explosion of vivid, joyful color — the image that made Kadishman a household name among collectors of Israeli and international modern art worldwide.
Kadishman's sheep imagery is inseparable from his legacy. Beginning in the 1980s, the sheep became his signature motif — appearing on canvases, sculptures, prints, and eventually the walls and sidewalks of Tel Aviv itself. His work is held in major collections including the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and institutions across Europe and the United States. He represented Israel at the Venice Biennale in 1978.
Good overall condition with mild surface wear and toning. Frame has mild to moderate wear to edges and corners — consistent with age. The print itself presents well under glass.
Private collection. Estate fresh to market.
